Abner Yap

Abner Yap was born in Kuala Lumpur, where he started his career in publication in 2003 as designer at local magazines – Astro V MAG, iFeel & InTrend.

In 2005, he joined Spectrum Outdoor Media Sdn Bhd and, two years later, he became creative director for Internet Marketing division and Event division of FDCV Group. Year 2011, he decided to quit all his jobs and start his own business. Abner formed a creative and digital marketing company – Yibon Creative Inc.

He has handled important clients including S P Setia, Gromutual, Berjaya Corporation, Hai-O Enterprise, Ascon, Lion Group, Ayamas, Fiffy, K Care, Canadian Pizza, M-Plan, The Schooling Society, Memory Jewellery, TSL Bestmas and many more SME as well.

December of year 2013, he diversified his business by create a marketing platform for Malaysian artist. The company called Creative Volts (M) Sdn Bhd. Creative Volts (CV) built to create a resource-sharing and e-commerce platform for local original work and gather all local creative artists and lovers together to generate economies of scale. Apart from this, the biggest challenge of CV is to bring the culture of creativity and arts into people’s life and transform simple graphic artworks into creative products with commercial value.
